Adobe After Effects (or AE 2022) is a new update for Adobe Systems’ digital editing software for Windows or macOS. It will be released in 2022. This is the first major release. This is the 20th release of this software.

Adobe After Effects, as with previous versions, includes tools to create and edit animations using the integrated animation editor (Timeline). In AE 2022 there are six composition managers to manage compositions: Sequence Components (also known as Layer Components), Audio/Video Components (also known as Audio/Video Components), Video Group Components (also called Shape Group Components), and Group Components Object. The sequence component is used to manipulate time-based structures such as timeline junctions and timer keys.

The “L” Key, which was used to open the Sub-Composite Mode in previous versions, now opens the Timeline Color Panel by selecting Edit > Rename. You can also access the Color Timeline panel by pressing the Shift + F1 key at the top right corner of the screen. In addition to brightness and contrast adjustments, the control panel also allows color space conversions. Four sliders located at the bottom allow for saturation and contrast adjustments while maintaining the original color of an image.

• A panel of time-lapse color ramps: 10 new color gradients are created by capturing still and/or video images from the editor’s favorite screen.
• Color Space Conversion Timeline: The ability to switch between different color spaces. After Effects can use the 4 channels to create the final output of color.
• Color ramp adjustment 12 new color ramps are available to adjust the composition’s color range by adjusting intensity and/or contrast.
• Timeline Audio mixer: Drag and Drop tracks onto clips on the timeline to create metadata for the Audio Tracks
• Timeline Effects editor: Edit effects across multiple layers. Encore Compositions can be used to edit all the layers and effects of a layer in one pass.
• The timeline blur panel allows manual or automatic fade transitions for selected keyframes/selections within video clips, sequences, or stills.
• Timeline Project Bin panel: Advanced storage for projects using XMP template and exported projects. Using JSON to store pre-rendered assets.
